Montlake Mousse was founded by
Seattle native by Jack Burg in the Spring of 1992. |
At
Montlake Mousse, we
simply want to provide soul-satisfying, all natural desserts that make our
customers happy. That’s it. There’s no hidden agenda. Fat, calories, and cholesterol
in the best tasting recipes we have put together, making sure the sugar does
not mask the other flavors. The most common response we hear is “it’s really
good, it’s not too sweet.” Just like too much salt can ruin a salad, too much
sugar can spoil a dessert.
We sell primarily through wholesale distributors, and retail grocery stores,
but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear directly from you. Need something
special, or can’t find our products in your local market? Get in touch. Let’s
talk. There are no calories in conversation.
We have always believed in active participation in our community, and you’ll
often see our products at neighborhood and community events. We’ve never taken
to the idea of advertising, who doesn’t say their desserts are mouth wateringly
delicious? We instead, put that money where our mouths are, donating desserts
to causes we support. Below is a list of organizations, events, and causes
of we support, along with links to their websites.
Everything we offer is made locally, by hand, from scratch, with pride and
great care. Our mousse is available in a wide range of flavors and sizes.
Our bakers are happy to customize cakes to your satisfaction. From an intimate
dinner at home to a banquet for 500, we strive to provide just the right finishing
touch.
